Found this place on yelp. The atmosphere was cute and romantic. Judging by the pictures online we decided to have our one year anniversary here. Appetizers were amazing and the fajitas were delicious as well. We had the queso, trio salsa, and shrimp ceviche for appetizers. 10/10 can’t wait to come back!

First night in Austin and decided to come here, sat at the bar and ordered great drinks and food. Solid place. Great views. The bartender Elijah was also super helpful and friendly, 10/10 service.

What a beautiful spot, even on a rainy day. Highly recommend reservations to ensure you get a good spot. We didn't have reservations, and they were still able to give us a table, but I can see where that could not be a guarantee. Happy hour margaritas were great, not too sweet. Food choices were fantastic and delicious.

Great food just around the corner from the hotel I was at. The food was great and the salsa was really good too. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in town.

My wife and I stopped in on our way to wait for Kill Tony. We wanted a couple margaritas and some quick food bites to hold us over for the show. The chips were, fresh and gluten free. The trio of salsas was good but not really one of the salsas stood out. We used them on our fajitas. The steak fajitas were large enough for us to split. But if I was really hungry I’d get my own. The margaritas and bartenders were really awesome. Friendly, quick and clean service. This on the side of the Thompson and it’s got its own entrance, which is pretty cool. And if you’re celebrating something let the bartenders know and they’ll bring you some frosty shots! So good!!

Just had a cocktail and the crispy rock shrimp. All of it was tasty and the bartenders were attentive. Better views in Austin but might be better people watching on nights and weekends. Definitely recommend if you’re in Austin.

My friend and I came to the Thompson Hotel for a Don’t Tell Comedy show. Since the doors didn’t open yet, we decided to grab a drink at Arriba Abajo while we waited. It happened to be prom night, so the staff let us know there weren’t any available tables, but bar seating and open spots were first come, first served. We were fine with that and ordered mocktails at the bar. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. The bartender even gave my friend a heads-up not to lean on the counter because of sticky residue, which was thoughtful and appreciated. The drinks were great and the vibe was relaxed. It wasn’t too loud so it’s a nice spot for a casual date or a night out with friends. The space itself is also really cute. We used valet at the Thompson, which I believe was 16 for the first 1 to 3 hours. After that, it’s a flat 30. Not 16 plus 30, just 30 total. It worked out for us since we were able to split the cost and didn’t feel like dealing with parking.
